Since that time a number of other leading IT companies have introduced thier own version of academy programmes, namely Microsoft, Oracle, Sun, CompTIA and VMware. Recent
reports have shown a skills shortage in the IT industry and despite the recent turndown in all sectors of the economy it is vital for institutions to have appopriately skilled staff.

GRA through its association with Leigh Technology Academy is able to offer a variety of technical and office training opportunities to community clients with a view to improving their office and technical skills which will facilitate thier gaining employment or better paid jobs. There are very few areas in the modern job market that do not require its staff to interact at some level with computer technology and the courses are aimed at giving the client the skills to become successful in their chosen area.
